It doesn't matter whether you just started minecraft or are a passionate fan- sooner or later, you will notice the painfully slow cooking speed of the furnace.
Why, You'll think. Why does it take five minutes to go through a single stack of chicken?
Well, there's an answer. And that answers a lot easier then you might imagine.
The answer is this command right here.
/data merge block ~ ~ ~ {CookTime:199,BurnTime:2}
Note: the "~ ~ ~" is where you need to put coordinates to specify which furnace you want to speed up.
This command makes cooking MUCH faster than even a complicated hopper and furnace machine. Just insert the command into a repeating command block, turn it on, and bam! Your furnace is faster then time itself. Get ready for those 1 tick cooked chicken dishes.
~You can also put a bunch of these into a hopper machine, and your chicken will arrive faster than a whole server can eat it!~
